Tecno has announced a new phone called Camon 50 Ultra at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. The latest edition of the Camon 50 series features a triple rear camera setup and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. Although the key specifications and features have been revealed, the price and availability are yet to be revealed.

Specifications and features of Tecno Camon 50 Ultra

Tecno Camon 50 Ultra comes with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The device also features ProXDR Eye-Care technology, designed to reduce eye strain during extended screen time.

Under the hood, the Camon 50 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and is backed by a massive 6500mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

For photography, the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra sports a triple rear camera system that houses a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. This device is capable of recording videos up to 4K/30 FPS.

Tecno Camon 50 Ultra comes with MIL-STD-810 certification with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The device features a Dolby Atmos-tuned speaker unit and an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric security.

Tecno Camon 50 Ultra is also equipped with Tecno AI Suite, which includes powerful creative tools including AI Lightmaster 2.0, 3D Photospace, and AI image-to-video generation.

Tecno Camon 50 Ultra will receive three major Android OS updates and five years of security patches. Additionally, buyers will get 50GB of Tecno Cloud storage free per year for the first three years when the phone goes on sale.
