Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi recently indicated on one of the biggest crossover of Bollywood. In a recent interview, he suggested a possible role in two of the industry’s two most discussed franchises – ‘Dhadak 2’ and ‘Gully Boy 2’, a possible role between him and Ishaan Khat.

During an interview with Varinder Chawla, Siddhanta teased, “Do you know Akshay Kumar from Ajnebi? This Dhadak 2 x is like a street boy 2,” indicating that he leads ‘Dhadak 2’, Ishaan can step into ‘Gully Boy 2’.

The unexpected indication came when Siddhant was telling how he came to know about the title of Dhadak 2, none other than Ishaan Khatar. “So what happened, initially, I signed the film, which was untital at that time, and we did not know it was being called ‘Dhadak 2’. We did not have a title,” he explained.

He continued, “I met Ishaan at a screening, which Zoya had kept for one of the films, and he said, ‘Oh to you, you are doing’ Dhadak 2, ‘, and I am like’ Dhadak 2 ‘?Tujhe kiz pata, muje hi nahi pata(How do you know? I didn’t even know!). Siddhanta said that Ishaan somehow knew before the title that he was joking that he had already shot half the film, without knowing that it was officially ‘Dhadak 2’.

Praising Ishaan’s performance at origin, Siddhanta said, “He has started the franchise, and he was spectacular in it. And I know it would be at least, equal.”

So far there has been no official confirmation of ‘Gully Boy 2’. Ishaan’s idea ‘Gully Boy’ during joining the universe, while Siddhant has continued the ‘Dhadak’ journey, looks like a full-cycle moment for both actors. Siddhanta made his mark as a Mac lion in ‘Gully Boy’ (2019), while Ishaan’s breakout came with ‘Adhodd’ (2018).
