The Oppo Reno16 series was unveiled on May 25, albeit for Chinese models. The global models (which have slightly different hardware) were unveiled earlier today – here are all the details. However, the India launch is happening next week on July 2 and will have a slightly different lineup.

As a quick recap, the star of the show is a 50MP 3.5x/80mm telephoto lens, which will be joined by three other 50MP modules – the main, 116° ultra-wide and 100° ultra-wide selfie cameras.

Another highlight of the phone is the ability to record 4K 60fps video with HDR – this mode is available on all four cameras, giving you plenty of flexibility.
The phone will launch with ColorOS 16 (Android 16) and offer a ton of photo modes and photo editing functions. And you don’t even have to ask – yes, there will be an AI key on the side.

The phone is rated IP69K for resistance against submersion and hot water jets. And the back will have the first HoloVerse 3D design in India with a 3D pop planet look.

Additionally, there will be a oppo reno16c – This will be a new model as the global lineup includes the vanilla Reno16 and Reno16 Pro (with 200MP camera).
From what we know so far about the Reno16c, it will feature a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera. There will be an ultra-wide module on the back, but its resolution is unknown. No word on a telephoto lens.
Additionally, Oppo will be introducing its newly announced Enco Air5 TWS buds (but seemingly not the Air5s semi-in-ear model).
