Exclusive: ‘People want me to make All the Best 2’: Rohit Shetty says on Ajay Devgan and Ajay Devgan’s sequel; Sanjay Dutt’s film

“Why are you talking like he’s behind me?” If this hilarious dialogue makes you laugh out loud, then you know which movie we’re talking about. Released in 2009, All the Best: Fun Begins is one of the most rib-tickling comedy films in Rohit Shetty’s filmography. Shetty, who is enjoying the success of Singham Again, recently hinted at All the Best 2.

During a new exclusive Pinkvilla Masterclass, Rohit Shetty revealed that he is often asked about the sequel to All the Best: Fun Begins. Directed by Shetty, the 2009 film starred Ajay Devgan, Fardeen Khan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.

“I’m giving interviews and meeting all the young people and suddenly All The Best is becoming like a cult. People started saying to me, ‘Why aren’t you making All The Best? ‘Dhondhu’, like Don’t keep quiet’, Rohit Shetty said.

In the same conversation, Ajay Devgan, who played the lead role of Prem Chopra in All the Best, called it a “very fun film”.

All the Best: Fun Begins is remembered for its ensemble cast, witty dialogues, and excellent performances. It featured Bipasha Basu and Mugdha Godse in lead roles. While Bipasha was paired opposite Ajay Devgan, Mugdha played the role of Fardeen Khan’s on-screen girlfriend.

Fardeen was selected for the role of Veer Kapoor. Sanjay Dutt played the role of his elder brother Dharam Kapoor. Bipasha had dual roles, Janhvi Chopra and the princess of Lesotho. Mugdha’s character’s name was Vidya. The comedy film starred Ashwini Kalsekar, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Mukesh Tiwari and Asrani in lead roles.

Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty’s recently released film Singham Again is clashing with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office. This cop-drama, led by Ajay Devgan, is performing well in theaters so far. It also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff.

Rohit Shetty is known for two franchises, Cop Universe and Golmaal. He has made films like Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3 and Golmaal Again. He is also bringing Golmaal 5 in future. His filmography also includes Singham and Singham Returns.

Additionally, Shetty has directed Simmba, Circus, Dilwale, Chennai Express and Bol Bachchan.
