Actor Salman Khan rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Saturday, October 12, after friend and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead near his son Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office. 66 year old leader Died due to injuries during treatment.

Salman, who has a close relationship with Baba Siddiqui, reached Lilavati Hospital at around 12:30 in the night. The actor has been a regular attendee of Siddiqui’s famous annual Iftar parties, which often gather Bollywood’s biggest stars.

Earlier, some reports had claimed that Salman had stopped shooting for Bigg Boss 18 after Baba Siddiqui’s death. However, India Today reported that these are false claims as the actor had shot for the Weekend Ka Vaar episode on Friday. As reported, the team had finished the episode the same day and there was no shoot happening tomorrow.

Baba Siddiqui, known for his political legacy and social influence, played a key role in resolving one of Bollywood’s most infamous controversies. In 2013, he brought together Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan after their five-year estrangement, which started after the controversy at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party. Their Iftar gathering that year marked the rapprochement of the two superstars.
