Kannappa has actually been one of the recent most ambitious Telugu projects. Apart from its story, glimpse and songs, the film has attracted attention to its stellar cameo which features actors like Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal.
Recently, Vishnu Manchu broke his silence on why the rebel star was not seen anywhere to join the film as a part of the pre-relief event.
Why did Prabhas alias Rudra miss participating in the Kannapappa pre-relief event?
At the recent pre-release event for Kannappa, Vishnu Manchu addressed the most debated question about why Prabhas was absent from any promotional program of the film, and in fact, even left the press meat.
Vishnu replied that he knew well whether it makes Prabhas uncomfortable, indicating the hesitation of the latter on creating a public presence. In addition, he mentioned that he refrains from asking the Sala actor such questions.
He said, “My brother Prabhas is comfortable with some things, but there are some aspects that make him feel uncomfortable,” he said. “I am really grateful to him to be a part of my film. I know what Prabhas feels uncomfortable, and I avoid asking him about such things.”

Moving forward with the same revelation, Vishnu mentioned that Prabhas had to record a video message and send it to the Kannappa team in his absence.
However, the actor was clearly not well, and as a result, the shooting of this message was also discontinued. Vishnu did not see Prabhas fit further to harass anyone.
Prabhas shouts for Kannappa in front of release
Just before Kannappa’s grand release in theaters, Prabhas took a message to the audience to his Instagram stories to give a message as they prepare the film to watch on-screen.
He wrote, “#Kannappa comes on the big screen. The epic story of a person who gave more than his life. He gave his vision and his soul. Kannappa is now a witness to divine surrender.”
