Thalapathi Vijay is ready to bid farewell to cinema after his previous film, Jana Naygan. The film is scheduled to release in January 2026, and people are quite excited about it. H Winoth directed the film while Anirudh Ravichender composed the music.
Recently, Anirudh recalled a anecdote from the past and reminded of the special gift from the Tamil actor after the success of his first film and how it remained an important part of his life.

Recently, talking with Anupama Chopra in an interview, Anirudh Ravichender gave a glimpse in his music room, where a huge piano is located. The composer revealed that it was gifted to him by Thalapathy Vijay together with his first film, after the success of Kathahi’s music album.
He said, “I sit and play a lot. I mean, in fact, whenever I present a tune for the musician. It was gifted me by Vijay Sir, in fact. When I was the first time, it was my fourth film, which was called Katthi. So when his album did well, he gave me a gift to this piano.”
Anirudh revealed how Vijay’s piano still acts as a memoir for him
Moving forward in the conversation, the artist said that still, he has kept this piano with him as a memoir.
In addition, Anirudh mentioned how before each of his song, he first plays the track on this piano without any other instrumentation. Once they prefer tone, only he presents the entire song.
In his words, “So I have placed it as a memoir. Whenever I present a tune to the director, I always present it on the first piano without any backing or instrument.

Till now fast, the Thalapathi Vijay is marking his 51st birthday on 22 June. His fans worldwide are ready to celebrate and mark this day, especially since this year he will leave cinema permanently after his previous film Jana Nayagan.
