Many posts described the film as a family entertainer with comedy, action and familiar faces, although some viewers also pointed out flaws in the script, visuals and music.
Many users praised the 58-year-old actor’s appearance, the ensemble cast and the film’s nostalgic appeal. At the same time, not everyone was completely convinced by the comedy. Some posts said the humor was inconsistent and the script was overworked, though they acknowledged some funny moments and the value of the cast.

One user described the film as “super entertaining” and wrote that while the first half was good, “the second half is fantastic”. The post said that Akshay was “very good”, the rest of the cast did a great job and the film was a complete family entertainer with comedy and action. The user also described it as “total paisa voosol” and urged others not to miss it.
Another user said welcome to the jungle as “a clean entertainer” and said that it is in contrast to films where women are considered attractive and jokes are sexualized. The Post called it a “clean brain-rot family entertainer” and said audiences should not expect logic from this kind of film.
The same user said that the actors were trying their best to make people laugh, adding that Akshay looked like he was having the time of his life, Farida Jalal was really funny, and it was a treat to see Sunil Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Johnny Lever enjoying their characters.
The user also noted flaws, saying the visuals could have been better and the music album was not good, but still described the film as solid and wrote, “You will leave the theater with a smile on your face.”
A third user called the film “excellently entertaining” and said that he had not laughed like this in a Bollywood film in years. Talwinder’s song was also praised in the post why And said that this film can become one of Akshay’s highest grossing films.
Another user said, “Akshay Kumar is the heart and soul of the film” and added that Kumar and Sunil Shetty’s chemistry will remind the audience of this. Foul play Jodi, while the rest of the cast were just “okay okay types”. The same reaction said that Disha Patani was the only actress who stood out and the pairing of Raveena Tandon and Kumar brought a sense of nostalgia.
That post was less flattering about some of the other performances, saying that Urvashi Rautela and Jacqueline Fernandez’s characters came across as “weird and boring”. Nevertheless, it described the film as enjoyable family entertainer and said that although the trailer and songs were terrible, the final product was “not so bad”, with Kumar and Sunil Shetty saving the film.
