Weekly Deals: Samsung Galaxy S26 series is on sale, iPad Air 11″ and 13″ (M3) get discounted

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series debuted with strong pre-orders in late March and held its prices for a while, but now the flagship trio has hit a new normal.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is by far the most popular model of the three, partly because of the unique privacy display, but also because of the inherent benefits of the Ultra model. Earlier this week, we published an S26 Ultra vs S26+ comparison article. We’ve also compared the new Ultra to the S25 Ultra and pitted it against the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

It’s no secret that the Samsung Galaxy S26+ almost didn’t happen. However, Samsung exited the super-thin phone market and here we are. The S26+ brings a nice improvement in battery life even without increasing the battery capacity, but wired charging was somehow slower (it’s still rated at 45W).

The Samsung Galaxy S26 gets more solid upgrades like a slightly larger battery leading to longer battery life and slightly faster charging too. Also, 256GB base storage. It’s a big upgrade from the S25 to the S26+, compared to the S25+, but not by much. Still, it is one of the three pillars of 6.3” smartphones in the US along with the Pixel 10 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro.

There’s a $200 discount on the older Apple iPad Air 11″ — when we say “older,” we mean the model with the Apple M3 chip from last year. Apple refreshed the Air series with the M4 chip earlier this year, but the extra performance over the Air with their 60Hz display and iPadOS is hardly worth it. The 2026 model has 4 gigs more RAM than this model, which is worth it if you’re a heavy multitasker. So it makes a difference.

There’s an almost identical discount of $170 on the larger iPad Air 13″, but only 512GB units are available. Note that these are Wi-Fi + Cellular models, so you can add an eSIM.
