Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora lost their father Anil Mehta on September 11, 2024. Apart from family members, several B-Town celebrities paid their last respects to their late father yesterday. Malaika and Amrita bid their last farewell to their late father on Thursday when they attended his funeral at Santacruz Hindu Crematorium in Mumbai. While Malaika’s ex-husband, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan and his family were spotted at Arora’s residence in Bandra yesterday, Salman Khan was missing from the spot. A day later, Salman has now arrived at Malaika Arora’s mother’s residence to offer condolences as her family mourns the demise of Anil Mehta.
In a video on Instagram, Salman Khan can be seen entering Malaika Arora’s parents’ apartment in Bandra. Salman enters the gate amid heavy security with barricades on both sides. It is worth noting that the Khan family shares a very close bond with Malaika Arora and her family. Everyone has supported Malaika during her difficult times.

Talking about work, Salman and Malaika have worked together in the Dabangg series. Meanwhile, Arbaaz and Malaika’s son Arhaan Khan stood by his grandfather after he lost him yesterday. Arhaan looked very sad after losing his family member. A video of him coming out of the building after his demise surfaced on social media. His cousin Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh’s son Nirvaan Khan were with him in this difficult time.
On hearing the news of Anil Mehta’s death on Wednesday, Salman’s parents Salim Khan and Helen also arrived. Sohail, Seema, Alvira Agnihotri, Alizeh Agnihotri and other family members also reached the spot at night.
Earlier on Thursday, Arhaan was seen consoling his grieving mother Malaika on the day of her funeral. Malaika’s best friend Kareena Kapoor Khan and sister Karisma Kapoor also offered their heartfelt condolences on her demise. Arjun Kapoor, who has dated Malaika before, also extended his support to her. Celebrities like Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan were also spotted visiting her parents’ house.
Anil Mehta’s family includes his wife Joyce Polycarp and two daughters Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora.
