Starring War 2, Hrithik Roshan, Junior NTR and Kiara Advani, 3 days away from its release. Spai Actioner opened his advance booking in Hindi today, and the reports are encouraging. One should note that prebooking for the Hindi version in Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Pondicherry is yet to open.
War sells 20,000 tickets in 2 top national series
As soon as 10 pm (Sunday, 10 August), War 2 sold more than 19,250 tickets in the top three national chains -PVR INOX and Cinepolis- for the early days alone. Out of which 14,500 admissions were registered in PVR Inox, while Cinepolis recorded around 4,750 admissions. The film is releasing more than 5000 screens in Hindi, as well as with limited screening in South states. Pre-cells have opened on a good note. A massive increase in Hyderabad is expected to see a large-scale growth immediately after the pre-provision event.
Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR starrer expect an unprecedented booking before the first show. For three days still in hand, war in national chains is expected to be on the lines of 2 East-Book Tiger 3. It is better than Hrithik Roshan’s previous release, fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand. However, a lot will depend on its booking in the next few days.
War 2 targets a Benger that begins in Hindi
Spai Universe film Hindi and Telugu markets are likely to start a Benger in their early days, their early days. It is a non-hectic release on Thursday. A huge business voting can be expected on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which can lead to an unprecedented inauguration weekend of four days.
It will be interesting to see if the film can end the early day collection of its prequel, war (2019). The film is expected to have a solid advance, in which a magnificent walk-in viewers come to theaters on the inauguration day. Interestingly, YRF has secured about 90% of single-screen theaters in North India, which will benefit it to a significant extent. In addition, the film will have a special release in all formats, including IMAX, 4DX, Ice and Dolby Cinema.
War 2 is releasing in theaters on 14 August, in a conflict with Cool. The box office clash will affect its business, but not prominently in the Hindi circuit, if it manages to open for a magnificent word-of-mouth.
