The new version shares a lot of specifications with the old model, but also comes with some significant upgrades. The new Vivo phone will be seen competing with popular phones like OnePlus 12R, IQOO NEO 9 Pro and more.

Vivo V50: Specs, Features
Vivo V50 has borrowed some facilities from its predecessor, Vivo V40. The latest model is powered by a Snapdragon 7 General 3 processor, which was also used by the V40 smartphone. It retains the dual rear camera unit, including two 50-megapixel sensors. While the camera system is similar to the old model, the company claims that the new version has different 50-megapixel sensors compared to its predecessor. For selfie, it comes with a 50-megapixel camera. The Vivo V50 has an equal 6.78-inch quad-ghumavdar FHD+ display. The panel refreshes on 120Hz. So, these features are similar to the old model.
In addition, you get the same design blueprint on the V40 series, but the new model now comes in fresh colors. It comes in the color options of the Titanium gray, rose red and wires. The device has a glass back panel and a slimmer body compared to the V40. Its thickness is more than 7.39 mm and weighs around 199g.
The new version packs a large battery with support for better charging speed. There is a 6,000mAh battery below the hood compared to the 5,500mAh unit seen on the previous model. The Vivo V50 has support for 80W power to 90W charging. Finally, it has support for both IP68 and IP69 ratings for better security against submersion in water (up to a certain point). This is a bit surprising because we see these IP ratings on the ultra-pramium smartphone. Even it comes with AI features such as circle to search, AI transcript, AI live call translation and more. The company is also claiming that users will get better camera experience with Vivo V50.
