Vikrant Massey, known for his down-to-earth personality and stellar acting, recently became the talk of the town on social media when a picture of him touching his wife Sheetal Thakur’s feet on Karwa Chauth went viral. The Sector 36 actor spoke to India Today Digital about this.

“This may break a lot of hearts, especially those who criticized me and cursed me. I don’t have Twitter or Reddit, so my wife is my eyes and ears in this world; She tells me what’s going on,” the actor said.
He further added, “He showed me some screenshots, which I read. There were some positive comments and some negative. But it doesn’t really matter. That is my personal life.”
Vikrant then said, “This is not the first time I have touched her feet. We have been together for 11 years now. I really believe in the tradition – we do Lakshmi puja, touch her feet, and we say that all good things happen when a woman touches her feet. Then why do people have a problem with it?”

But I am learning new tricks of the trade so that it doesn’t affect me because I have a beautiful family to take care of, a lot of work to focus on and myself to take care of. “So, even though I haven’t been immunized, things don’t affect me as much as they used to.”
