During the second day of Agenda Aaj Tak, Varun said, “My wife is scary. A woman has more protective instincts after the birth of a child. For me, she is a superhero and I am learning from her.”

Varun and Natasha became parents to their first child, a baby girl, in June this year. Since Lara’s birth, Varun has struggled to find time with Lara due to his busy schedule and he has missed some of Lara’s achievements.

Varun shared, “I don’t have time to spend with my baby. My baby has just started eating solid food and Natasha sent me a video of it. I was so nervous that I saw it for the first time. Couldn’t see.”

The actor also revealed how he shares the responsibilities of the child with Natasha. When Varun was asked about changing nappies, he joked, “I was already trained in it because of my dog Joy.”

On his career front, Varun, who was last seen on the big screen in the 2022 film Bhediya, is returning to the big screen after two years with Baby John. He clarified that this gap was not intentional but due to a lack of diverse roles.

“I didn’t deliberately take a break. But directors and producers were offering me only chocolate boy roles. No one saw me in action or serious roles. It just so happened that I met Atlee (producer of Baby John) during one of our programs. ) in the meetings, I wanted to take action and he came to me with it,” Varun said.

Directed by Kelleys, Baby John also stars Vamika Gabbi, Sanya Malhotra and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles. The film promises action, drama and emotional depth and will release in theaters on December 25.
