Suraj Chavan wins Bigg Boss Marathi 5, Abhijeet Sawant becomes first runner up
Sooraj Chavan was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi 5. The actor claimed the coveted trophy and a cash prize of Rs 14.6 lakh.
Content creator Suraj Chavan has been declared the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi 5. The season’s grand finale took place on Sunday, October 6. Suraj not only won the Bigg Boss Marathi 5 trophy but also took home the huge prize money. Rs 14.6 lakh after defeating Abhijeet Sawant.
The top three contestants were Sooraj Chavan, Abhijeet Sawant and Nikki Tamboli.
The cast of the upcoming Bollywood film Jigra participated in the grand finale episode of Bigg Boss Marathi 5. Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina and director Vasan Bala made appearances on the show.
Riteish Deshmukh shared a picture with Sooraj Chavan on Instagram. She captioned the post, “Bigg Boss Marathi winner @official_suraj_chavan1151 runner up @abhijeetsawant73. #biggboss #biggbosssmarthi @colorsmarthi (sic).”

Ahead of the much-awaited finale, contestants Dhananjay Powar, Janhvi Killekar and Ankita Walawalkar were eliminated. Bigg Boss Marathi 5 was hosted by actor Riteish Deshmukh.
