Actors Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, who reunite in the upcoming project The Rip, sat down for a fun chat ahead of the Netflix premiere on January 16. The two discussed life beyond acting, the careers they choose outside of Hollywood, their workout routines, stunts and more.
During the discussion, Matt Damon answered a question about friends sharing bank accounts. “We shared our bank accounts, but there wasn’t much money in them. If one of us had run away with the money,” Ben said, “it would have been a major fraud investigation. Who took the $11.”
The second question was what kind of career they would be good at pursuing outside the entertainment industry. Matt responded to this by saying, “We were both raised by teachers, so it would be a natural direction.” Ben said, “But the weird thing about it is I don’t remember any of us really thinking about other careers. Not because of any ego. It was just, we felt this was the kind of approach we needed.”

Finally, the two shared their weirdest stunts, where Matt called himself the “anti-Tom Cruise.” “I guess, let’s let that guy do everything because he’s really good at it.”
