The much-awaited trailer of Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film ‘GOAT’ is set to release on August 17 at 5 pm. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film will hit the theatres on September 5.

‘GOAT’, also known as ‘Greatest of All Time’, has created quite a buzz among fans and the industry. On August 15, the film’s director Venkat Prabhu revealed the film’s trailer release date on X. He wrote, “Get ready. Get set. Buckle up.. #TheGoatTrailer is coming to your screens on 17th August at 5 PM.”

Earlier, Venkat Prabhu revealed the story of ‘GOAT’ and said, “GOAT is a fictional story. But, we have made it close to reality. Vijay and his core team are part of the Special Anti Terrorist Squad. It is a branch of RAW. What they did in the past becomes a problem in the present. How Vijay and his core team face the challenges is the story.”

‘GOAT’ brings us together Thalapathy Vijay, Prabhu Deva and Prashanth Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan, Meenakshi Chowdhary, Sneha, Laila, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premji Amaren, Yugendran, VTV Ganesh and Aravind Akash are among the actors who are part of the supporting cast.

‘GOAT’, produced by AGS Entertainment, is an action thriller with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematographer Siddharth Nuni and editor Venkat Rajan are part of the technical crew.
