She further added, “Trinaad garu and team #joke apologize to Anshu garu and all the women present there for the poor choice of words.
We are here because of you.”
During her speech at the teaser launch, Trinadha expressed her excitement about working with Anshu, who is returning to films after almost two decades following her appearance in the Tamil film Jai (2004).
Referring to Anshu’s appearance, Trinadha said in Telugu, “I used to wonder what this girl looks like. If you don’t know what she looks like, watch the movie Manmadhudu. He added, “Does she still look the same? She has become thin now. I asked him to eat and gain weight because it is not enough for Telugu (cinema). The size should be bigger. Now it has improved. She will improve further.”

This is not the first time that Trinadha Rao Nakkina has faced criticism for inappropriate comments or behaviour. In 2024, at another public event, he made actor Payal Radhakrishna uncomfortable by repeatedly requesting him to hug her despite her apparent non-verbal refusal.
Anshu Ambani, who rose to fame in the early 2000s with films like Manmadhudu, Raghavendra and Jai, is returning to the silver screen with Mazaka.
