Sunita Ahuja confirms Bollywood debut with son Yash after coming out of lock up
Sunita Ahuja says she and her son Yash will debut together in an Ekta Kapoor-backed film to be released in September. She will play his mother on screen and has asked fans to bless Yash as warmly as they have supported him.
After entertaining the audience for decades, actor Govinda’s family is now ready to step into the limelight. His wife, Sunita Ahuja and son, Yash Ahuja, are set to make their Bollywood debut together in a film backed by producer Ekta Kapoor.
in an interview with ANISunita confirmed that the film is scheduled to release in September and revealed that she will also be playing the role of Yash’s mother on screen.

Sharing details about the project, she said, “I am doing a film with Yash, and it is scheduled to release in September. I have a lot of love and respect for Ekta Kapoor. It is because of her that I did the Netflix show and we share an amazing bond. In Yash’s film, I am playing her mother. This is probably the first time in the industry that a mother and son are being launched together.”
Sunita also appealed to fans to give her son the same love and support that they have shown her over the years.
She said, “I just want to say that I hope you all give the same love and blessings to my son Yash that you have always given me.”
While Yash is preparing for his Bollywood debut, his sister Tina Ahuja has already forayed into acting. He debuted with the 2015 film Second Hand Husband.
Susunita recently came out lock up Citing health reasons. She explained her decision to the hosts, saying, “My health is not good because my diabetes is not under control. I am stressed, also because I am going through menopause. I have pain and some difficulty breathing. So I have been saying over and over that I want to leave.”
Before his exit, Govinda entered the show to meet Sunita. While sharing a warm hug, the actor commented that he had never experienced such challenging situations before participating in a reality show. Referring to their frequent fights inside the house, Govinda joked that his friends were sending him clips of their confrontations.
