Splitsvilla X6’s Sorab Bedi reacts to rumors of dating Malaika Arora, asks for respect
Speculations about the relationship between Malaika Arora and Sorab Bedi came to light after their party pictures went viral. Bedi clarified that they are just friends and expressed concern over the social media reactions.

According to them, the two go back many years and first met through mutual friends in the modeling circuit. Bedi said that actors Delnaaz Daruwala and Vahbiz Mehta were instrumental in introducing her.
He said, “During my modeling days, Delnaaz Daruwala and Vahbiz Mehta gave me a chance to walk the ramp. I became friends with them and started going to parties. At one such gathering, I met Malaika through my mentors. She is also very close to Delnaaz and Vahbiz. That’s how we became friends. There is nothing between us.”
Bedi also expressed her disappointment over the online reaction to her recent photos and urged people to be respectful when discussing a woman’s personal life.
“People are saying many things about us. They should think twice before speaking about a girl. It can affect her mental state.” this should not be done (They should not do this),” he said.
He said he has been attending social functions with Malaika and their mutual friends for years, but the attention is new because of their recent visibility.
He told, “I have been partying with Vahbiz, Delnaaz and Malaika for many years. Earlier I used to share pictures with Malaika too, but I was not a known face then. Now people are noticing it. Two people can be friends – we trust each other, but people interpreted it differently.”
The rumors started when Bedi attended an event at Malaika’s restaurant in Juhu and posted pictures from the evening on Instagram. In a now-deleted post, she congratulated him at the venue and shared pictures with the actor and his group of friends.
