Sonakshi Sinha openly attacks actors, critics; want strict laws
Actress Sonakshi Sinha publicly expressed concern over the increase in online attacks targeting both actors and film critics, calling the trend extremely disturbing and highlighting the urgent need for strict laws.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha has expressed grave disappointment over the worrying rise in online harassment targeting individuals in the film industry, including actors and film critics. Recently during a program in Mumbai he raised this serious issue. Subsequently, a video clip of his comments has been widely circulated on various social media platforms.
Sonakshi said,What bothers me more (The thing that bothered me) is this blatant attack on people online.”
,It happens with everyone, it happens with actors too, now it happens with critics. (It happens to everyone from actors to critics)” she continued.
,I think this is something that we all should work towards ending and try to find a solution to.. because no one is sitting anywhere and telling you anything And there’s not much people can do about it (that anyone from any part of the world can say anything to you and you can’t do anything about it). I think we need to make strict laws to regulate and control this.”

Sonakshi is married to Zaheer Iqbal. The couple was in a relationship for seven years before their marriage. They first met in 2013 at a function organized by Salman Khan. This year, the actor expanded his professional horizons by entering Telugu cinema. He starred in the supernatural thriller, JatadharaWhich was co-directed by Abhishek Jaiswal and Venkat Kalyan. The film starred her co-star Sudheer Babu in the lead role, along with Shilpa Shirodkar in the lead role.
Sonakshi was also seen in this Nikita RoyWhich was released in theaters on 18 July 2025.
