The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) was held on 5 and 6 September 2025 in Dubai. As many Telugu celebrities were awarded praise for their recent performances, here is a complete list of winners.
SIIMA 2025 winning list
The event honored a wide range of Telugu cinema performances and a wide range of films, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone Kalki 2898 advertisement to receive the best film award.
Director Sukumar was awarded the Best Director Award for Pushpa 2, while Best Director (Critics) was awarded Prasanth Verma for Hanuman. Meanwhile, Best Actor Award went to Allu Arjun for Pushpa 2, and Rashmika Mandanna won the best actress for the same film.
Meanwhile, Teja Sajjja was awarded the Best Actor (Critical) Award for Hanuman, while Meenakshi Chaudhary was awarded the Best Actress (Critics) for Lucky Baskhar, which was Duller Salman’s co-content.
Amitabh Bachchan and Anna Ben were recognized as the best supportive actors for Kalki 2898 AD, and Kamal Haasan was awarded the best villain for the same film. Additionally, Pushpa 2 honored Goddess Shri Prasad for Best Music Director Award.
The awards honored Ramjogay Shastri with the best lyricist with the best lyricist for the song of Junior NTR: Bhag 1, composed by Anirudh Ravichender. Interestingly, Shankar Babu Kandukuri won the best male playback singer for Song Peelils (Pushpa 2), while Shilpa Rao took the best female playback singer award for Chick (Devra).
In the technical category, the Best Cinematography Award was received by Rathnevelu for Devra.
About movies
Pushpa 2, playing in the lead roles, is the sequel to Pushpa (2021), starring Allu Arjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film examines the story of a sandalwood smuggler, Pushparaj, which risks everything to rise within its crime syndicate, which faces every obstacle in his way.
Moving on, Kalki 2898 Advertisement was a Futuristic Science-Fi epic film that was taking inspiration from the mythological texts of Mahabharata. Prabhas starrer was directed by the lead roles of Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan and by Nag Ashwin.
Additionally, Hanuman, directed by Prasanth Verma, portrayed a superhero film, where a young man was given the powers of Lord Hanuman after coming in contact with a mysterious gem.
