Kamal Haasan is eagerly prepared for the release of his film Thug Life, slate to hit the large screen on 5 June, 2025. Next to its release, the actor was seen in an interview, where he reacted to the grandmother, especially from Veerumandi.
In his conversation with Sudhir Srinivasan on YouTube, the famous actor was asked about his reaction to Nani’s praise. In response to the same, Kamal Haasan said, “If I take the name of a grandmother myself, it will be enough for him. I don’t even need to say ‘thank you, grandmother’. I know that he will understand what I mean, and the audience will also do it.”
While the anchor himself suspected what Kamal Haasan said, Nani was in a hurry to answer and once again expressed his praise for an experienced actor. In a small note on social media, the hit 3 actor said, “Podham sir. Podham,”, when translated from Tamil, it means, “This is enough to me, sir. Sir.”

For those unknown people, in an early interview with the same host on YouTube, Nani was seen appreciating about Kamal Haasan’s early tasks. Saying how he always considers experienced actor as an inspiration for him, Nani spoke a lot about some scenes of films like Viramandi and Apoorva Sagodharragal.
Moving forward, Kamal Haasan is soon ready to give a storm to theaters with his gangster actioner venture thug life. The film, directed by Mani Ratnam, features the story of Sakathivale Nike, a gangster like Yakuza, who adopts a young boy, Amarran, and raises him in his form.
Currently to cut, aging gangsters are considered to be dead, for business with their foster son. However, the man is ready to return from his grave, in which he is a pioneer for Amarran because he is a conspirator to die. It is as follows that there is a story of vengeance between father and son, from which it is a fight for death.
The lead roles include Kamal Haasan and Silambarson TR, the film includes Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Jujo George and a lot in the leading roles.
On the other hand, Nani is scheduled to appear in the next gritty action film, titled The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odella and slate for release on 26 March 2026.
