Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha married her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal on June 23 and started a new journey with him. Their wedding took place in a beautiful ceremony at their home, where Sonakshi’s parents Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha were also present with them.
Now, the proud father has written a post expressing gratitude to the well-wishers of the newlywed couple on behalf of the family. He called Sona and Zaheer’s wedding the ‘wedding of the century’ and posted inside pictures and videos.
Shatrughan Sinha is very happy with the love he is receiving after the marriage of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal.
Today, on June 26, Shatrughan Sinha took to X (formerly Twitter) and expressed his feelings about the wishes pouring in for his family. In a tweet, he shared a video from his daughter Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding reception, in which he was seen interacting with veteran actress Rekha. The video also had pictures of the couple as well as Poonam Sinha and other guests. Another video showed Sonakshi getting emotional after the jaimala during her wedding ceremony.
The tweet read, “Truly overwhelmed by the wishes, it really means a lot, no words to express our happiness and appreciation. #SinhaFamily.”
