Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson has confirmed that she will join the Jurassic World franchise. The actress said she is a huge fan of that universe.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, the actor said, “I’ve been trying to get involved in this franchise in some way for 10 years. I’m like, ‘I’m gonna die in the first five minutes!'”
“I’m a huge Jurassic Park fan,” Scarlett was quoted as saying by Variety.
Scarlett said, “This is one of the first films I saw in theatres. I remember it so well. It was life-changing and mind-blowing. I can’t describe how excited I am.”
Based on a screenplay by David Koepp, the upcoming Jurassic World will be directed by Gareth Edwards, who has previously helmed films such as Rogue One and Godzilla.
“I’ve been trying to get into this franchise in any way I can for 10 years. I’m like, ‘I’ll die in the first five minutes! Anyone could eat me! I’ll do craft service!’ I’d do anything for it. The fact that it’s happened this time around in the way that it has is really incredible,” the actor concluded.
