‘Sardar Ji 3’ crossed the box office collection of ‘Sultan’ starring Bollywood actor Salman Khan in Pakistan after a release in India. The Punjabi film, including singer-actor-actor Diljit Dosanj and Pakistani actor Hania Aamir, allegedly emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film in the neighboring country.

Diljit Dosanjh-Star is said to have recorded the biggest inauguration for an Indian film in Pakistan, which earned Rs 3.5 crore (PKR) on its first day. In comparison, ‘Sultan’ earned Rs 3.4 crore (PKR) in its early day in Pakistan.

According to the official data released by the manufacturers, the Punjabi film earned Rs 4.3 crore on day 1 and Rs 6.7 crore on day 2. Its overall foreign gross is now Rs 11 crore.

Earlier, Dosanz re -shared a video of a cinematic plex of Pakistan -based cinema on his Instagram story. The video showed the audience’s enthusiastic response for ‘Sardar G3’.

“Show on 12 Ultra screen. The largest in the country. Heavy response to ‘Sardar Ji 3’. Come and look!” Read the caption.

Reports say that ‘Sardar Ji3’ is running home in theaters across Pakistan. The film is allegedly a big hit in cities like Lahore and Islamabad and people are falling in love with the film.

Meanwhile, Dosanz is facing a boycott call in India to sign Hania Aamir despite the ban on Pakistani actors amidst India-Pakistan tension.

In an interview with BBC Asian NetworkHe said, “When this film was made, everything was fine. We shot it in February and things were fine. After that, there were many big things that were beyond our control. So the producers decided that the film will not clearly release in India, so they would not release it abroad.

Between the backlash on ‘Sardar Ji 3’, Dosanz could lose to his upcoming Bollywood film ‘Border 2’. Reports states that he can be replaced by the film’s makers with Ammi Virk.
