Samsung has launched a new budget-friendly smartphone in India called Galaxy F70e 5G. Despite its relatively affordable price, the F70e has several notable features. In this phone you get 120Hz display. The phone also has a large battery of 6,000mAh. Additionally, Samsung is promising up to six years of software updates which appears to be a big USP (short for Unique Selling Point) of the phone.
The launch of the Galaxy F70e comes just days ahead of Samsung’s big Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25, where the Galaxy S26 series of smartphones are expected to be unveiled. The Samsung Galaxy F70e comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ display. The panel can refresh up to 120 times a second and supports up to 800nits peak brightness. Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of storage.
For photography, the F70e sports dual cameras on the back which are a combination of a 50-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is another 8-megapixel housed inside a waterdrop-style notch. Samsung says that with features like Night Mode, the Galaxy F70e can capture brighter and more detailed photos in low-light conditions.
The F70e runs Android 16 with One UI 8 software. Samsung is committed to six years of support with six generations of major OS (operating systems) and six years of security updates. The package packs a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy F70e comes in two colors: Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue. The phone has received IP54 rating for basic splash resistance.

Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G price in India starts at Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the top-end model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 14,499. Under the introductory offer, the company is giving an instant discount of Rs 500 to the customers. The phone will be sold exclusively online through Flipkart and Samsung.com from February 17.
