Samsung has announced a new lineup of affordable smartphones, the F70 series. This F70 series will be targeted at younger users who want a good camera experience without breaking the bank. Buyers can expect the first devices from this lineup next month. Here are all the details.

Samsung announces expansion of the F series

The Samsung Galaxy F70 series is an extension of the already existing F series that focuses on the budget and midrange segment. However, according to the company, the F70 lineup will target a younger audience who want to express themselves.

As such, the Korean giant has teased that the F70 lineup will come with good camera hardware. Samsung also says the devices will focus on content creation, perhaps for users who want to share their moments on social media.

Samsung Galaxy F70 series launch and expected price

The Galaxy F70 series will include some devices. Samsung said in a press release that all the phones in this lineup will be launched for less than Rs 30,000. However, the first Galaxy F70 device will be at the lower end of the segment, with a starting price of under Rs 15,000.

The Galaxy F70 series devices will be available on Flipkart just like the rest of the F series. The first phone will be launched on February 2, 2026.

Samsung Galaxy F70 series, what you can expect

Currently, Samsung sells the Galaxy F17 at a similar price range. The device is powered by Exynos 1330 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery. We can expect similar specs for the upcoming Galaxy F70 series devices, however, there is no official statement yet.

The Galaxy F17 comes with a 50-megapixel rear camera, paired with a 5-megapixel ultrawide sensor. On the front you get a 13-megapixel selfie shooter. Now, considering the information provided by Samsung, the new F70 device will likely come with a notable camera upgrade.

When it comes to other details, such as the display, we could see something similar to the Galaxy F17 with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
