Salman Khan’s Mathrubhumi not facing certification delay, makers clarify

The makers of Mathrubhumi have denied reports that the film has hit CBFC hurdles. The statement focuses on the film’s pending certification submission and unresolved release date.

Dismissing the speculations, the team shared a statement saying that the claims are “false” and clarified that the film has not yet been submitted for certification.

This clarification comes after several reports stated that the CBFC has put the clearance certificate of the film on hold until further notice. Refuting the claims, the makers said that there is no truth in the reports and urged media outlets to trust only official updates.

In a statement shared on July 4, the team said, “Any claims that suggest Motherland: Let there be peace in war It is wrong that CBFC has faced problems or its certification has been stopped. The film has not yet been submitted to the CBFC for certification. Therefore, such reports are completely baseless.”

The statement urged people not to spread unverified information, adding that any official updates regarding the film will be shared only through the official channels of Salman Khan Films.

Following the postponement, industry reports suggested that the Salman Khan-starrer may hit the theaters during the Independence Day weekend in August. However, the makers have not announced the revised release date yet.
