Saif Ali Khan is currently admitted in Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after he was attacked multiple times with a knife by an intruder in his Bandra home. The actor is out of danger after multiple surgeries and is currently stable. Recently, the auto-rickshaw driver who took him to the hospital has expressed happiness over saving the star’s life. He also said that if Khan wanted to give him any gift for his kind work, he would not say ‘no’ to him.
After being attacked by a masked man on January 16, 2025, Saif Ali Khan was taken to Lilavati Hospital and Research Center in an auto-rickshaw by his elder son Ibrahim Ali Khan. Recently, an auto driver named Bhajan Singh Rana, who hails from Uttarakhand, expressed happiness on being able to save the life of the Hum Tum actor.
Speaking to Times of India, Rana said that he feels good that he saved someone’s life and was able to help. She said, ‘If Saif wants to meet me, I will definitely meet him. If he wants to give me a gift, if it makes him happy (if it makes him happy), how can I refuse him?’
Earlier, Bhajan Singh Rana recalled the tragic night when a bloodied Saif was taken to a nearby hospital in his vehicle. He said a woman came running and told him someone was injured and they needed to go to the hospital. At first he did not realize that it was veteran Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan who was injured. He simply saw a man bleeding and took him to a reputed hospital.
Singh further said that a small child of about 7-8 years of age and another person were also present with Saif. On reaching the hospital the actor requested immediate medical attention, stating his name. Then he came to know that the actor was hurt.
Earlier on January 17, 2025, Kareena Kapoor Khan had recorded her statement with Mumbai Police. According to India Today, a senior police inspector from Bandra police station came to his residence to record his statement regarding the incident.
