The actor emerged as one of the biggest attractions of the evening, with videos of his energetic performance and dialogue entertainment quickly going viral online.

In a clip from the NMACC (Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre) events, Ranveer Rehman is seen reprising Akshay Khanna’s iconic line as the dacoit: “Assalamualaikum Lyari,” the audience cheered loudly.

He also delivered another memorable dialogue from the film, “Don’t you miss home, Jassi? (Don’t you miss home, Jassi)”, originally performed by Udaybir Sandhu’s character, added to the excitement in the programme.
