Actor Rajkummar Rao will be seen in a new avatar in his upcoming film ‘Maalik’. The actor announced the news while sharing his first look poster from the gangster drama on his 40th birthday on August 31. Rajkummar also revealed that he has started shooting for ‘Maalik’.

Rajkumar Rao has increased the excitement of people by releasing a new poster on social media on his birthday. This will be the first time that Rajkumar Rao will release a new poster on his birthday. Rajkumar Rao will play the role of a gangster in the action-thriller film. Sharing the poster, the actor wrote on Instagram, “#Welcome to the world of the boss. The shooting has begun, we will meet soon (Welcome to the world of #Malik. Shooting has begun and we will meet soon)(sic).”

In the poster, Rajkummar Rao is standing with his back to the camera, holding a gun. His eyes convey the intensity and brutality of a gangster. This is the first time Rajkummar is playing such a character.

‘Maalik’ will be produced by Kumar Taurani of Tips Films and Jay Shewkanmani of Northern Lights Films.

Where was Rajkumar Rao last seen? In the sequel of the horror comedy ‘Stree’The film received positive response from critics and grossed over Rs 500 crore globally. Vicky, who plays the role of a prince in ‘Stree 2’, fights a new enemy ‘Sarkata’ (headless one) and joins forces with Stree to defeat him.

Apart from Rajkumar, ‘Stree 2’ also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee in lead roles.
