Official trailer and the plot of Rayastha
Shahna goes on a trip to find her mother. On the way, a group of Dayalu Malayali Extes helps her. Faizal, Mujib, Salim, Sadikka and Divya are standing on her side. The script written by Keralas in Oman, Shahul and Faiz Madkara, reflects strong bonds within the Malayali community.
The film follows a straight story. The first half focuses on the characters and their efforts to track Shahna’s mother, Fatthima. The real test begins when Faizal, Mujib, Shahna and Khalid, an Omani National, Vishal Ragad ‘Al Khali get stranded in the desert. Director Anish Anwar effectively creates stress through a broad view and a terrible background score.
Unlike many existence films, Rayastha does not rely on extreme survival techniques. Instead, it highlights the toll of exhaustion and nature. Sandstorms and toxic creatures challenge their endurance. Vishnu enhances cinematography by Narayanan and music struggle by Evin Mohan Sitara.
