R Madhavan addresses Hindi-Marathi debate, never has to face any problem

Actor R Madhavan shared his views on the ongoing Hindi-Marathi language debate. The actor, who was raised in Jamshedpur, Bihar (now Jharkhand), emphasized his diverse background in various states and cultures. He insisted that he never had any problem due to language.
In an interview with IANS‘Aap Jaisa Koi’ the actor said, “No, I have never experienced it. I speak Tamil. I speak Hindi. And I have also studied in Kolhapur. I have also learned Marathi. So, I have never had any problem due to language.”
The dispute occurred in April when the Maharashtra government made Hindi compulsory as the third language in state -run primary schools with Marathi and English. The situation increased when he was allegedly targeting non-Marathi speakers as a video of Maharashtra Navneman Sena (MNS) workers.
This created a comprehensive debate about linguistic diversity and cultural integration in the region.
Recently at the trailer launch of ‘Sardar 2’s son’, actor Ajay Devgan was asked to take on the matter. He replied in his ‘Singham’ style with the phrase, “Flour middle satakali.“Actor Shilpa Shetty reacted to the controversy, saying he was aware of the issue.”
On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor’s partner Shikhar Pahiya made a long note on Instagram. “Language shapes that are us. It has shaped our states, our stories, we have no exception to the poets, songs and revolutions. Marathi is no exception.
On the professional front, R Madhavan is set to appear in the upcoming film ‘Dhurandhar’. The film also stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal. Additionally, he will characterize Rakul Preet Singh in Luv Ranjan’s ‘D Day Piyar Day 2,’ with Ajay Devgan.
This year, the actor has already shown in three films, such as ‘Kesari 2’, ‘Test’, and ‘Aap Jaisa Koi’.
