Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, has become the highest-grossing Indian film after breaking several box office records. After the huge success of the film, fans are eagerly waiting for the update of its third installment. While the makers are silent about it, composer Devi Sri Prasad shared some insights during an interview with India Today.
He revealed that the ideas have been evolving over the years. DSP said that Pushpa had small ideas of music in her mind from the very beginning. He mentioned that he had started building on these ideas even before working on Pushpa 2. Some music pieces created by DSP did not fit in Pushpa 2, but could be used in Pushpa 3.
When the script for the next part was narrated, some elements were kept aside for it. He mentioned that although he has some ideas, the overall structure has not been finalized yet.
“Now, based on the eagerness of Pushpa 2, Sukumar sir is continuously working on his passion, visuals and story. Many things will eventually be tailored to the story of Pushpa 3. But yes, we have some pieces and ideas which Will take shape moving forward,” he said.
The DSP also revealed that for Pushpa 3, the team is putting in 100 percent effort, just like they did in the first two installments. Sukumar’s focus is on the script, while the production has not started yet.
Earlier, during an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Pushpa 2 dialogue writer Srikant Vissa had shared that there will be more characters in this third installment starring Allu Arjun.
He said, “Pushpa 3: The Rampage will be bigger, grander and better than Pushpa 2: The Rule. We will be incorporating more characters into the entire narrative with the third part.”
Meanwhile, Pushpa 2: The Rule released on the big screens on December 5 last year and is still running successfully in theatres.
