The makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule released the trailer of the film in Patna, Bihar on Sunday, November 17. The grand trailer sees Allu Arjun reprising his lead role of a red sandalwood smuggler, while Rashmika is seen as his love interest. The trailer looks promising with a dose of everything – drama, mystery, action, music, romance and culture. What else? This time we have got a big villain.

Actor Fahadh Faasil, who had less screen time in Pushpa: The Rise, appears in a stronger role in Pushpa: The Rule. At least that’s what the trailer says. He looks dynamic, matching Pushpa’s quirks and swag perfectly. The trailer is also full of whistle-worthy dialogues, including the iconic dialogue that has now been modified to sound more ‘wild’. Sample this: “The name Pushpa means sun flower, it is not a flower, it is a wild flower. (Did you think I’m like a flower? I’m fire. Not just fire, I’m ‘wildfire’)”.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 starts from where the first part ended. The game remains the same. It is a cat-and-mouse race between the smugglers and the gangsters and the authorities trying to deal with their entire business. We also get a glimpse of actor Sreeleela’s dance number, which is the highlight of the film.

Meanwhile, Arjun and Rashmika were present in Patna along with the rest of the team during the trailer launch of the film. This film is going to be released on the screens on 5th December. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
