Khushi Kapoor made her debut in the fashion industry by walking her first show for a popular Indian designer. She walked for the first time for Gaurav Gupta’s collection with her alleged boyfriend Vedang Raina at the India Couture Week 2024 on Monday.
After the event, she spoke to the media about her experience and revealed what advice her elder sister Janhvi Kapoor gave her before the show. Read on!

Several inside clips of Khushi Kapoor walking in her debut fashion show went viral online. The Archies actress also shared several behind-the-scenes glimpses from the event on her Instagram Stories. Soon after the show ended, Kapoor opened up about the advice she got from her sister and actress Janhvi Kapoor.
Khushi told ANI, “Yes, Janhvi told me to stay calm, be present and listen to the music.” Furthermore, the Bawaal actress also gave her younger sister some quick tips and “told me to just be myself” ahead of her runway debut.
Khushi Kapoor opens up about her first ramp walk with Vedang Raina
Khushi was accompanied on the ramp by her alleged boyfriend Vedang Raina. Speaking to PTI, Khushi, daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, said that since she was walking with someone she was comfortable with, the experience was less stressful. She also didn’t feel nervous as she was “comfortable with the other person.”
On the other hand, Vedang expressed his excitement to work on another project with Khushi after Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. He said that they will “definitely” work together. He added that since they have known each other for a while, there is a lot of comfort between them, “comfortability on the set, comfortability in our company.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Khushi is shooting for her upcoming romantic comedy film Nadaniyaan, which stars Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan alongside her. Directed by debutante director Shauna Gautam, the film is bankrolled by Karan Johar. Talking about Vedang, he will next be seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra, which stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
