Poco F7 Ultra Benchmark: Snapdragon 8 Elite In Action

Poco will launch the Poco F7 series next week, but we already have top model, Poco F7 Ultra, in for Review, as well as Poco F7 Pro. While we wait for the complete manifest, we can already share some of our findings from the review process – benchmarks come here.

With F7 Ultra, Poco is a high target, and it is trading with big players when it comes to performance. The previous Poco F model has used old flagship chips, such as 8+ Gen 1 and F6 Pro on F5 Pro, 8 Gen 2, or 8S Gen 3 3 on Poco F6, less “s” -Tier, such as. With Poco F7 Ultra, Poco wanted to offer the best current chipset, which is why it is the first model in the F-series that calls itself “ultra”.

Poco F7 Ultra is a flagship and is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Poco F7 Pro uses last year’s chip, Snapdragon 8 General 3. It already gives Ultra a leg in performance, but it also has an option for more RAM. Both models have 12/256GB as their base configuration. However, Ultra can be upgraded to 16/512GB, while the Pro goes up to 12/512GB. The upgraded versions are those we used for the tests below.

F7 Ultra usually posted excellent numbers in our general benchmark, even though it was not the most elite of the show – other phones with the same chipset had little advantage under most loads. In contrast, Poco has an upper hand against non-eligible contestants such as OnePlus 13R (SD 8 Gen 3), Vivo X200 (D9400), or Xiaomi 14T (D9300+).

Under the long -term load, we noted the relatively standard steep decline in the performance. The CPU graph is probably slightly worse than the average, while the 3DMark tension test can be slightly above equal – overall, showing a standout, but not really even a disturbing.

The Poco F7 series will be launched on 27 March, which is Thursday next week. We will cover the launch event and of course, meanwhile, will continue working on the entire review.
