Mohanlal starrer Thudram hit a big screen on 25 April and is still doing well at the box office. The film has been a success, in which fans across the country shared positive reactions. Actors Suriya, Jyotika and Karthi also appreciated the film and invited director Tharu Manthi to celebrate the moment for their home with their family.
The filmmaker later took to his Instagram handle to share some photos on his Instagram handle. He first posted a picture with Karthi and wrote, “Thudram Waves in Kollywood.” He said, “Thank you and for love and care you have shown to Malayalam Cinema and Lal Sir. A feeling, many interpretations. That feeling is called Mohanlal.”

Mohanlal’s latest Malayalam release Thoodram is still getting stronger at the box office after its release. The film has wrapped its fourth weekend on a high note. It collected Rs 2 crore alone on its fourth Sunday, pushed Kerala Sakal to a mark of Rs 110 crore.
Directed by Tharu Murthy and produced by Rejaputhra Visual Media, Thudarum has become a major commercial success. It is currently the third largest grossing Malayalam film and the fourth highest -grossing Indian film of 2025. The film will face the latest competition from Tovino Thomas’s Narivata in the coming week on May 23, 2025.
Located in a peaceful city, Thaudram follows a taxi driver Shanmugham aka Benz. When he inadvertently involves his son’s death, his calm life is shattered. The story turns into police corruption and personal vengeance. After finding out that his son was murdered by a senior officer, Benz in his way looked for justice.
The film includes Mohanlal, Shobana, Binu Pappu, Prakash Verma and many other lead roles.
