President Draupadi Murmu presented 65 Padma awards at the second civil investiture ceremony in New Delhi. The honors included all three Padma categories and included names from cinema and music.
President Draupadi Murmu conferred the Padma Award 2026 at the second civil investiture ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Tuesday evening. According to an official statement, he presented a total of 65 Padma awards, including two Padma Vibhushan, seven Padma Bhushan and 56 Padma Shri.
Awards given at the ceremony included honors for Mammootty, Alka Yagnik, R Madhavan and the late Satish Shah. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were also among those present.
