There are no plans to release the Phone 4a series any time soon. Ahead of the launch, the London-based phone maker has teased its latest version of the Glyph interface – a Glyph bar with mini-LEDs. It looks like this.

There are no preparations to launch the Phone 4a series any time soon. The London-based phone maker has been teasing the Phone 4A and Phone 4A Pro for the past few days. Now, the company has finally given us a glimpse of the new “Glyph Bar” that will debut with the upcoming devices.

The London-based phone maker shared a thread of The thread contains a video showing a machine creating the new glyph bar. According to Nothing, the new interface includes nine mini-LEDs that can be individually customized. The caption reads, “Nine individually controllable mini-LEDs, 40 percent brighter than the previous (A) series.”

What is the nothing glyph bar?

From the video, we can see rectangular mini-LED units lined up together to form a single unit. However as stated in Nothing, the teaser only shows seven LED units instead of nine.

There has been no announcement of a Glyph Bar for the Phone 4a series.

One of the LED units is red, while the rest are white. It’s unclear whether this will be the case when the Phone 4A series launches, or whether all units will be customizable for color as well.

The Glyph Bar replaces the glyph lights found in the Nothing Phone 3a series and the glyph matrix introduced in the Nothing Phone 3.

Nothing Phone 4A series, here’s what we know

According to the teaser, the Nothing Phone 4A series may come in new colors including blue and pink. In a separate video, the company teased a blue colored device with a new design that retains the transparent nothing design theme.

Earlier, Nothing CEO Carl Pei had said that the Phone 4A series will deliver a “flagship-level” experience, as the company has left the Phone 4 launch for 2026.

Apart from the new colors and glyph bar, the Nothing Phone 4a series will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset. According to leaker Debayan Roy, the Phone 4A could use the Snapdragon 7S Gen 4, while the Phone 4A Pro could come with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

Both phones are expected to have 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED panels. However, the Phone 4a Pro may come with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the Phone 4a may stick to 120Hz. The triple camera setup will continue in the Phone 4a series. An upgraded 50 megapixel 3.5x periscope telephoto sensor can be found in Phone 4A Pro.

The Phones 4a and 4a Pro may also get an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Nothing Phone 4a series launch and expected price

Nothing will launch the Phone 4a series on March 5, 2026 at 10:30am GMT (4pm IST) in London.

According to DLabs, there may not be any increase in the price of Phone 4A series. The starting price of Phone 4A in Germany and Spain has been said to be 389 Euro (approximately Rs 41,500). Whereas the price of Phone 4A Pro can start from 479 Euro (approximately Rs 51,500).

For reference, the Nothing Phone 3A and 3 Pro were launched in India for Rs 24,999 and Rs 29,999, respectively.
