What’s the point of a leak ruining your product launch when you can show the world what it looks like. Perhaps that’s why Nintendo went ahead and released a first-look trailer for its highly anticipated Switch 2.

The video shows the design evolution of the Switch 2 compared to the original model. The new version looks bigger than its predecessor, with a larger display (possibly OLED) rumored to be 8.4 inches. We can also see thinner display bezels and updated Joy-Cons, which have also grown in size and appear to attach via magnets.
The right Joy-Con has a new button next to the home button. Both get additional triggers next to the L/R buttons on the back.
We also see the familiar button layout on the console with power and volume buttons on the top left, cooling vents in the middle, a headphone jack, and a second USB-C port on the right, which joins the other USB-C connectors. At the bottom of the device.

On the back is an updated U-shaped kickstand that supports a much wider range of angles than the original Switch.
Nintendo also showed off its new dock and a brief demo of what we can only assume is Mario Kart 9.
