New trailer of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’: Big B becomes Deepika Padukone’s savior as Ashwatthama
The makers of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ released the second trailer of the film today on June 21. The film starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan will release on June 27.

Ahead of its much-awaited theatrical release on June 27, the makers of ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’ released a new trailer on Friday, June 21. The clip shows Amitabh Bachchan’s character Ashwatthama on a mission to protect Deepika Padukone’s character and her unborn child.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, the science-fiction film stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani in the lead roles. The recently released trailer gives a detailed glimpse of a world that is not only filled with war but also with emotions. It also delves deeper into the story, introducing more characters apart from the lead cast.

The two minute and twenty-two second clip shows exactly what was expected: Deepika’s character is carrying Kalki, the upcoming avatar of Kali Yuga, in her womb. Ashwatthama can be heard saying, “God lives in your womb”, before he fights Bhairava (Prabhas’ character).
Apart from this, Kamal Haasan’s character has also been revealed in the trailer. The Tamil superstar is playing the role of a sage in this film directed by Nag Ashwin.
The first trailer of the film was released earlier this week. The highlight of the clip was Bujji, the customised car and assistant of Prabhas in the film. The clip shows ‘Bujji’ as the loyal assistant of Bhairava (played by Prabhas) as they engage in an epic battle.
