Nellikampoyil Knight Riders was released on October 24, 2025 after the said date was postponed from the initial month’s release to avoid clash with the horror comedy film, Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1, which was released on October 2. After its premiere, the film was not a hit, but fans of Mathew Thomas can now tune in digitally to watch the Malayalam-language OTT release on February 6.
Nellikampoyil Knight Riders announced its release on ZEE5 on Wednesday with a big announcement confirming its digital streaming details on ZEE5 Malayalam. The Naufal Abdullah directorial is written by Sunu AV and Jyotish M and directed by Matthew Thomas starring Shyam in the lead role, followed by Roshan Shanavas, Sarath Sabha, Meenakshi Unnikrishnan, Merrin Philip, Vishnu Agastya, Ronnie David and Abu Salim in lead roles. The film aims to bring friendship and the horror of the night with a folkloric and supernatural edge in a 122-minute showcase on OTT screens.

Nellikkampoyil is a village where superstitions have been prevalent among the nearby residents for years. They are shaken by thoughts of mysterious creatures living among them, a rumor which a young boy named Shyam seeks to confront.
Nellikampoyil Night Riders tells the story of the main character and his friends as they set out on a journey to challenge these ancient myths of a masked man with horse legs. While the hero battles his inner fear of the night, his friends accompany him to take down the legend of the disguised creature in a thrilling display of courage and camaraderie. They became the famous ‘Nellikampoyil Night Riders’ of the rural town.
