Actress Nayanthara will be teaming up with director Sundar C for the sequel of her superhit film Mookuthi Amman. The first part was directed by director-actor RJ Balaji, while the second part will see Sundar C in the role of a filmmaker. The makers welcomed the director with a special poster of Mookuthi Amman 2. The Mookuthi Amman 2 team promised that the premise of the second part will be different from the first part.

Vels Film International Limited, one of the production houses of Mookuthi Amman 2, welcomed director Sundar C. Sharing the poster, they wrote, “Welcome the King of Commercial Entertainers, Director Sundar C to the divine fantasy world of MA-2.”

According to the makers, Mookuthi Amman 2 belongs to the divine fantasy genre, which is made on a big budget. The film is jointly produced by Vels Film International, Rowdy Pictures, Avni Cinemax and co-produced by IVY Entertainment and B4U Motion Pictures.

RJ Balaji and Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman was a satire on religious leaders and several superstitious practices. “The film will be different from the plot of ‘Mookuthi Amman’ Part 1, with many great dramatic moments,” the statement said.
