Mr Bachchan OTT release: Here’s when and where you can watch the Ravi Teja-Bhagyashree Borshe starrer

Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan created a massive buzz ahead of its theatrical release on August 15, 2024. However, despite the hard work, the film flopped at the box office and failed to live up to fans’ expectations. Amid earlier reports of the Mass Maharaja returning his fees for the project, the film has now finalised its online release on an OTT giant.

Well, the makers of Mr Bachchan have now announced its OTT release on Netflix. An official post has been shared on Twitter (now Twitter), confirming the release of the super-hyped project on the streaming giant and the date is September 12, 2024. The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

Earlier, a Hindustan Times report claimed that Ravi Teja and filmmaker Harish Shankar had returned their fees for the film to compensate for the box office losses. While the actor has reportedly returned Rs 4 crore, the director has reportedly returned Rs 2 crore.

The report further states that although no one had asked the two to return the fees, both Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar took this voluntary decision.

For those who don’t know, Mr Bachchan, this film made under the banner of People Media Factory is based on the real incident of Income Tax raid on Indian industrialist Sardar Inder Singh. It is also the Telugu remake of the Hindi film Raid starring Ajay Devgan.

The star cast of Mr Bachchan includes some prominent names like Jagapathi Babu, Bhagyashree Borshe, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Satya, Sachin Khedekar and others.

In early August 2024, there were reports that Ravi Teja met with an accident and got injured while shooting for his next film RT75 (tentative title). This news left millions of his fans worried and curious about his health, but the star later gave an update on his health condition to X.

He assured that he is fine after the surgery and is feeling fine after being discharged from the hospital. Ravi insisted that he will return to the shooting sets soon.

On the work front, he has two projects, Kohinoor and RT75.
