Motorola today unveiled three new additions to its Moto G lineup. The Moto G15 and Moto G15 Power and Moto G05 are entry-level phones whose major selling points are large batteries. They are also the first Moto G devices to run Android 15 out of the box.

Moto G15 and Moto G15 Power

Both the Moto G15 phones have most of the same hardware except the battery. The power variant packs a 6,000 mAh, while the G15 has a 5,200 mAh capacity.

This makes the G15 Power a little thicker (8.8 mm vs. 8.2 mm) and heavier (203 grams vs. 190 grams), but apart from these changes, everything else is the same between the two.

Both phones feature a 6.72″ LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a punch hole for an 8 MP selfie camera. There are two cameras on the back – a 50 MP main and a 5 MP ultrawide.

Both the Moto G15 and G15 Power are powered by the Helio G81 chipset, which is an LTE-only platform with a 2 GHz octa-core CPU and 4 GB of RAM. Storage options are 128, 256, and 512 GB, and a microSD slot offers even more space for files.

The phone has a 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio and NFC, and even supports dual SIM cards. There are three color options: Gravity Grey, Iguana Green and Sunrise Orange. All three have a vegan leather panel on the back.

The Moto G05 shares the Helio G81 chipset and footprint with the Moto G15, with a thickness of 8.2 mm (although it is a gram lighter at 189 grams). Its LCD is slightly smaller at 6.67″ LCD and has a lower HD+ resolution. There’s still a punch hole for the 8 MP selfie camera.

This phone also has two cameras on the back, and Motorola has come up with a more upright design for the camera island. The main camera has another 50 MP sensor, but instead of an ultrawide you get a useless auxiliary sensor.

The G05 has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB storage. Like the G15 Duo, it supports dual SIM and microSD card. It is rated IP54 and has NFC (in some regions only), a 3.5mm audio jack, and Bluetooth 5.4.

The color options here are either Forest Green or Plum Red.
