Soon after the teaser was released on Thursday, social media was flooded with reactions. Many fans said that the film recreated the same energy that the first season created Mirzapur a great success.
One X user wrote, “The only movie I think can really challenge stalwart is at the box office Mirzapur: The Movie (sic).”

Mirzapur: The Movie Amazon is presented by MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment. Directed by Gurmeet Singh and written by Punit Krishna, the film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, with Kasim Jagmagiya and Vishal Ramchandani serving as co-producers.
The film is scheduled for theatrical release on September 4, 2026.
