Miley Cyrus is saddened by the Los Angeles wildfires spreading into residential and commercial areas of the state. The actress-singer paid an emotional tribute to the affected people on her Instagram story and remembered losing her house in the massive fire in 2018.
Along with a long caption, the Flowers crooner also shared a photo of his destroyed home in California.
On her social media Story, Cyrus shared the heartbreaking story of losing her home to the flames and how she can empathize with those who watched their homes burn to ashes. “This is a photo of my front porch taken after losing my home in the Woolsey fire in 2018,” he wrote.
The Disney alumnus added, “It’s a feeling you’ll never forget. Walking up to the door you walk through every day, expecting your loved ones to welcome you as usual, but instead find a pile of ashes and debris.

The actress shared support links for her fans and followers who may need help amid the difficult times. Later in the story, Cyrus wrote, “My soul aches for those who are experiencing this devastation firsthand and I weep for my city. This is beyond heartbreaking.
Los Angeles represents ‘living the dream’, but today’s reality is debris and destruction.
Among other links, the actress also shared the website with the Malibu Foundation, which she helped launch in 2018.
