This year’s Met Gala Theme is ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’. The focus of this year’s theme is Black Dandiism – a fashion movement where black people have used elegant dressing to express identity, pride and resistance.
This exhibition Monica L. Miller’s book is inspired by ‘Slaves to Fashion’, and it will be open to the public in the museum from May 10 to October 26.
dress code
The title of the dress code for the evening is ‘sewn for you’. Guests are encouraged to wear organizations that embrace elements of history, heritage and modern creativity, adding a personal style to their look.
Guestalist
While the official guest list has not yet been revealed, according to the report, Simon Biles, Ashra, Ayo Edabiri, Genel Mone and Dapper Dan are expected. A major attraction for the Indian audience is the expected beginning of actor Shah Rukh Khan. He is likely to wear a custom Sabyasachi design. Other names associated with the incident include Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh, adding India’s increasing visibility on global platforms.
